Requisition Import to created Expensed Item in Inventory Item Master.

Hi,

Is it possible for the PO Requisition Import to create Inventory/Expensed Items as part of the import? We want to import Requisitions from a third-party system and use their Item Numbers as our Oracle Internal Item Number, but do not want to have to manage the creation of the Item prior to the Requisition being imported.

Alternatively, will the Expensed Item Description and Item Category be overwriten with the value that is being imported during the Requisition Import Process?  If so, I guess an option would be to create a list of dummy Items with the valid numbering that will be used, simply as a placeholder.  Then let the Import dictate the correct values.  Not an ideal solution...
