Application server clustering (WebLogic or WebSphere)

Hi, I understand that 9.1 now support Application server clustering (WebLogic or WebSphere) and database clustering (like sql). We have smaller installation (100 users) and going for the upgrade to 9.1 (with 1000-1500 users). I would like to gain some insights from Oracle and customers as well if someone is using clustering and load balancing on the application server side and if this is worth the additional cost, complexity, and time.
