Consolidating Address Book Numbers

After completing the Address Book Consolidation, what programs should we be looking at to repost? I also need to know where the Rebuild As of Files for the To Address Book can be found and what is the purpose of this?  Aslo, how is the Recalculate  accumulated amounts and voucher year to date completed?  Are these 3 steps necessary after the Address Book Consolidation?
