RAC Refresh from Single Instance/non-ASM

I need to refresh my RAC/ASM db from a single instance non-ASM db.  What is the best way to do this?  Database duplicate doesn't work with set newname to move eveything to ASM.  Any ideas are appreciated.  Tks.
