11GR2. How to unmount diskgroup permanently

Hi,

We have a 2 node Rac.    We did a storage migration recently.   We created New diskgroups and added new disks to new diskgroup and move all data to new storage from old storage.  Now , we want to remove the old storage completely .

Can we do the following .

ALTER DISKGROUP disgroup_name DISMOUNT;

and then remove the storage .  Is there anything else to do?  Please advise
