System Item Key Flexfield - One Sgement to Multi - Advise

Hi All,

We have rolled out Oracle R12 with Single Segment Item KFF. Now we have a requirement from one of the business groups to have multi segments. Would like to take your advise on this.

As per my knowledge we can have only one structure per Instance. Am I right?

If yes, this calls for a change in the Item master which will impact all business groups. I hope I am right in my thought process.

If you have involved in this kind of requirement, do suggest us the approach you have taken.
