Updating transaction_document (Comments node) in HR_API_TRANSACTIONS for LOA

Hi everyone,

I have a requirement in R12.1.3 self-service leave of absence - create absence: to update the comments-node of the transaction_document column in hr_Api_transactions table so the updated comment shows in the approval notification.

For example, when an employee enters a leave request via self service, and the entered values gets validated in the api-hook, (then inside api hook) to update the 'comment' node in the transaction document with an appended bit of text (the net entitlement balance as at the leave start date).

So that when the approver receives the approval notification, the appended text in the comment is shown, rather than the original comment (or no comment) at all.
