Account Wrongly used

Hi,

My users have a problem with an account, the account type is Asset, for the Other Income.  There are balances from AP(item expense) and AR(miscellaneous cash).

There are lots of problem with the account and we are unable to open the GL target period. 

Kindly advise how to move the balance to their proper accounts as this is causing differences in the retained earnings account.
