Capital projects transfer of costs

Hi,

I have a capital projects with following costs:

Task1: CIP: 10000

Interfaced CIP:5000

That 5000$ is already transferred to assets.

I want to transfer 2000 from remaining 10000 to another task 2 and then capitalize it. When i did transfer expenditure item from task 1 to task 2, it did transfer and made that 2000$ available as CIP on task 2. But at the same time, it reduced interfaced CIP of task 1 by 2000$. I want system to reduce CIP of task 1 by 2000$ instead. What can i do?
