Is it possible to use a non-Exadata Oracle DB server as a physical standby for an Exadata database?

Hi All,

Is it possible or adviseable to use a non-Exadata Oracle DB server as a physical standby for an Exadata database? Especially in the case where Exadata is on 11.2.0.4.5 and non-exadata will be 11.2.0.4.1?

I am thinking all sorts of wild stuff could go on with opimizer features/stats if the standby every goes live and obviosly not on Exadata type hardware?
