Mass Assignment change in R12

Hi,

I need to perform Mass Assignments for change in the Cost Centre accounting segment.

I tried Mass Changes but it also changes the CIP assets as well, also I do not want some assets in that range which should not change, also Mass changes screen does not have assets number option?

So how can I do mass changes to change cost center segment with asset nos and skip CIP assets?
