During the installation of EBS 12.2.0 I got the following error: Not able to run DB installer. Check

During the pre-install checks for the installation of EBS 12.2.0 I got the following error: Not able to run DB installer. Check staging area.

I checked md5sum and it turned out fine. Next, I changed the permissions of TechInstallMedia with chmod -R 777. I ran the Database Pre-install checks again and got the same error.

Any ideas on what the problem might be?
