OEM Agent OS user is an Active Directory/LDAP user?

Has anybody used LDAP or ActiveDirectory users as OEM agent credentials on host targets?

We wanted to try this for ease of management, since the user has to be installed on every linux/windows server we want to monitor.

- however, it seems that from the 12.1 documentation link: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E24628_01/install.121/e22624/install_agent.htm#EMBSC181 that "Note: . . . . . . ensure that the user account you use and the OMS install user account belong to the same primary group."

- oms installed user primary group is oinstall on the dev-oem-app-01 (a local group)

- agent user's primary group is monitor ( an active directory group ).
