Auto Release Planned order for BUY Items only: How to set up?

Hi All,

I would like to know if there is a way to have 'Auto Release Planned order' work only for a set of Items.

Like we want only BUY Item planned orders to be released by Auto Release process.

Possible solution:

Set RTF only for BUY Items and no RTF control for MAKE Items, So Auto Release will pick only BUY items whose Planned order start date fall within RTF window and will be released, MAKE Item planned orders will fall off from releasing. Is this a right solution?
