Confusion over purchase order effective dates

Hi,

We are using Oracle Applications 11.5.2.10.

We have a Planned Purchase Order, and within the terms there is an effective end date of 30-SEP-14.

If we raised a calloff/scheduled release against this PO today (18-SEP-14), but with a need by date after the effective end date (e.g. 6-OCT-14).

Should the system allow this release to be created and approved or not?
