Instance Number does not get populated after entering the Serial in Logistics TAB

Hi,

When we enter the Serial of a product in the Logistics TAB I see that we need to also select the Instance Number from the LOV. The LOV shows more than one unrelated records. Any idea how to auto populate the instance number when we enter the Serial in Logistics TAB.
