Is Oracle database with 9.2.0.8 version compatible with AIX version 6.1 ?

Hi,

We are still having some Oracle databases in 9.2.0.8 version on AIX 5.3 (64 bit). The upgrade of the databases is not possible for the reason that the applications connecting these databases are not compatible to higher versions of databases than 9.2.0.8. Now there is a need to upgrade the o/s to AIX 6.1. But from the Oracle certification matrix, I have seen that the Oracle 9.2.0.8 is only compatible to highest AIX version of 5.3.

Is Oracle database with 9.2.0.8 version not compatible with AIX version 6.1 ? What if I try to upgrade the o/s to AIX 6.1 leaving the database version as 9.2.0.8 ?
