parameter question

show parameter sga

gives the following result

lock_sga boolean FALSE
pre_page_sga boolean FALSE
sga_max_size big integer 3G
sga_target big integer 3G

show parameter spfile - this gives me a valid spfile location
create pfile='/home/oraerp/pf_prod12.ora' from spfile;

Now when I read the file pf_prod12.ora it does not have the entry
sga_max_size ... Why is this?
