Siebel Configurator is slow

Hi,


We are currently facing performance issue when doing Customizing Product. It takes around 1.5 minutes for the eConfig View to load.  Checking on the logs, we saw this BS that is taking awhile to execute.

eCommunicationsObjMgr_enu_0014_14680097.log:ObjMgrBusServiceLog InvokeMethod 4 000000c454160df0:0 2014-09-16 15:36:37        Business Service 'Configurator Service' invoke method 'GetLinkItemValues' Execute Time: 76.513 seconds.

  1. What does this Business Service do?
  2. How can we improve the performance of this process?
