If I change my incremental backups from level 2s to level 1s, can I still restore?

Hello, We are RHEL 5, Oracle 11g. 

Our backup strategy was never updated from level 2 incrementals to level 1 incrementals.  Right now, level 0s occur each Sunday, and level 2s occur every other day, M-S.  Today (Friday) I would like to change all of the scripts that run level 2s to run level 1s, but if tonight's backup is a level 1, and all of the prior days backups are level 2s, and I need to recover sometime on Saturday, will I be able to do so?

So:

Sun: Level 0

Mon: Level 2

Tues: Level 2

Wed: Level 2

Thurs: Level 2

Fri: Level 1

Sat: RESTORE REQUIRED...  can I restore to 1:00pm today using my level 1 from Friday?
