We're looking to use Cross Platform Transportable Tablespace (XTT) with Incremental Backup approach to move data from a Solaris database at 11.2.0.3 to a Linux database on Exadata on 11.2.0.3 (Bundle Patch 24).  The source database is a single instance, the destination will be a RAC database.

I've seen it noted documented under known issues in MOS DOC 1389592.1:

2.    If you wish to utilize block change tracking on the source database (which we do) when incremental backups are created, then the fix for Bug 16850197 must be installed in the source database home.

When I read about the Bug I see the following statement:

This bug is only relevant when using Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Block Change Tracking (BCT).
