Is it base JDE functionality in any release beginning at 9.0 to allow a direct line (line type D) on

My client was told when they went live on 9.0 that they could have direct lines comingled on their SOs and the SD/OD process wouldn't be required.  They then have a related OD order tied to the SO order (not sure if this piece is in their customizations).

On a side note, they are seeing is some inventory reconciliation issues where the offsets don't clear out.

Any input is much appreciated!!
