Coupon Issued against coupon

Hello,

I have created a modifier to issue a coupon against sales order of Rs. 1000. I have completed this portion very much  effectively.

Now problem is that when i am using issued coupon for new sales order it again issues a coupon number for the next order. In this manner it is  generating a coupon against coupon. Is there any way to stop this second coupon generating and stop process once coupon is claimed.
