error from metattach: drive not common with host

cldev show displays "OK" status from both cluster nodes for the DID device

Global File systems are mounted properly

Both hosts are online.

Validated the major and minor numbers in device path.

I verified that prtvotc of the DID device is consistent on both nodes.

I keep getting a metaset error: drive dXX not common with host XXXXXX

Also tried suggestions from Sun Support to utilize devfsadm, scgdevs and scdidadm commands.
