Linux UEK kernel boot and installation of Oracle Linux

Hello,

Approaching to Oracle Linux installation for X64.

Reading README provided with the distribution wondering about the statement in README to boot with boot image UEK.

Not completely understood the readme.

The UEK boot image presents optional recommended boot step for the boot step of the installation process ?

Is it receommended as prefered when using aditional HWre ? But the other boot image could also do?

Is it needed another Linux station for using  UEK?

So that normal image is overriden or copied over Oracle Linux boot image ?
