HSM x VSM

HI all,

We have a huge HSM environment. We migrate about 40 TB per day and backup about 30 TB per day in our main plex.

All our tape  solution is based on oracle hardware e software and natives T9849D drives and 9840 cartridges.

We bought 3 PB of VSM6 buffer, divided in 6 boxes and we are planning moving all our HSM load to theses VSM6 using T10KC drives and cartridges.

So I would like to know if someone has some tips, advices, documents or anything else about HSM using VSM?

Some information about for example:

- HSM recycle x VSM reclaim;

- How to treat differents HSM host migrating different groups of datasets ( based mainly in expiration date) in the same tapeplex?
