Linux OS restart hangs on unmounting file system
Hello,
RHEL 6
WLS 10.3.6
SOA Suite 11g (11.1.1.7.0)
We have installed SOA suite on a 3-node cluster. For the first time we have used a shared file system (NFS mount), for the middleware home. When we need to restart any of the nodes, the OS shutdown hangs at waiting for file system to unmount. The strange thing is that if we first, shutdown the SOA managed server for that node, via the admin console, the node restarts.
Our current clustered SOA install does not leverage a shared file system and we do not have this problem.
Has anyone had any experiences or issues with OS restarts with installations using a shared file system?
