Resolving a package dependancy

Hello Everyone,

I am making my first attempt at installing OIM and I'm having some challenges right out of the gate as I am not very familiar with Linux.  One of the steps outlined in the Oracle docs for Fusion (Oracle® Fusion Middleware System Requirements and Specifications for Oracle Identity and Access Management) is to install some required OS packages for Oracle Linux 6.  I was moving along fine until I ran into  glibc-devel-2.12-1.7.el6.i686.   From my reading of the error output, my understanding of the error is as follows: 

  • glibc-devel-2.12-1.7.el6.i686 requires both glibc-headers-2.12-1.7.el6 and glibc-2.12-1.7.el6
