Can the ITEM field on the AAI aaplication/file be increased?

Hello all,

we have a situation where in at the client's place, they have decided to go for a 6 digit object code on the Chart of Accounts. This client is also implementing JDEdwards Job Cost module. The job cost AAI's are driven through the object accounts.

The challenge is the varied treatment of the same nature of the accounts. For example Freight line could be capitalized and also expensed in some cases.

Since the job cost AAI's are object driven and the item field can fit only a 4 digit object, we are contemplating to increase the length which technically means that the DD item for this field needs to be changed,
