Cost Vs Elapsed time

Hi All,

Could anyone explain on Cost Vs execution Time.

I see in few scenarios, where cost is high however it executes much faster.

And is somecases, cost is low, but it takes more time to execute.

I am in confusion to make a decision in such situations
