Mass Close Of Purchasing Documents program-commit interval parameter

Hi

We would like to run the Mass Close Of Purchasing Documents program.

I would like to know what is use of does commit interval parameter as it is defaulted as 100 (what happen if i enter 0)

Note that we will run the program for a certain date range.
