EMC Powerpath and Solaris MPxIO

in Oracle Solaris System Administration (MOSC) Question

Hi all,

We have a couple of Sunfire v890's running Solaris 10.  They are currently connected to our EMC CX3-40c SAN via fibre channel along with PowerPath for

multipathing of the fibre channel connections.  We are trying to also connect these servers to our newer Compellent SAN via iSCSI using the native Solaris

MPxIO for multipathing of the iscsi connections.  We are doing this as we are migrating LUNS from the EMC to our Compellent to de-commission the EMC

in the future.  I am having difficulty getting the Powerpath and MPxIO to co-exist on the same server.  The iscsi connections are setup via a quad 1 gb nic
