Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Hi Folks,

Oracle Inventory provides the following flexfields:

Account Aliases
Item Catalogs
Item Categories
Sales Orders
Stock Locators
System Items

Can some one explain me, following details about these flexi fields.

1. Which are the flexi fields are mandatory and optional?

2. Why they were mandatory in Inventory?

3. Explain each flexi field functionality with suitable business example
