Session Warning Message - Browser Refresh

We're currently using Siebel 8.1.1.9 with QF0101008 (amongst others) on Windows Server 2008. I've reproduced this behaviour in Firefox, Chrome and IE10.

I've noticed that when me or my users using F5 (or CTRL + F5) to refresh their OpenUI browser, instead of refreshing the view they get an error message:

Session Warning Message

You have initiated a Siebel session while another Siebel session is currently active. Please choose the option that applies to you.

  • You already have a Siebel session with unsaved data running in another browser window. To save data from a second session go to the already open session and either save and exit or continue to use that data.
