How to write import script / program for inventory on-hand data conversion

Hi Support Community,

Does anyone know of a document or general guideline to writing an import script/program specific to quantity-on-hand inventory?

E.g. tables involved in the process, etc.?

Our current company is struggling to determine how to do this. I am not a technical JDE expert/consultant, but I am very perplexed as to why this is so difficult. Right now, our current approach is to manually import >100,000 line items of inventory detail at time of conversion and this is less than ideal because of the time constraints we will impose for our go-live cut-over weekend.

Apologies if there are already documents on this topic within the support community. If you could link me to something specific to inventory quantity-on-hand conversion, that would be fantastic.

Howdy, Stranger!
