Apply QF0001086 WITHOUT the ActiveX CAB file

Hi!

We really need QF0001086 applied for our OpenUI configuration in 8.1.1.9 but we absolutely cannot have an updates ActiveX HI cab going out to our users.

Any idea how / if we can apply QF0001086 or equivalent without having to deal with the ActiveX control? We're going to OpenUI to escape from ActiveX but it keeps haunting us at every turn!

Is there a way to prevent HI users being forced to download the latest version?
