Planning Manager runs for a long time

in Value Chain Planning - EBS (MOSC) Question


We are using EBS version 12.1.3

Not sure if this is the correct forum to post the question, but...

Our planning manager is running for a long time. It will complete, but it is almost taking 24 hours to finish and show the completed status.

I am still not quite understand this concept of planning manager. Supposedly it should be run at all times? Or should it complete in a reasonable time? The concurrent request schedule says rerun every 1 minute. So, is this expected behavior? Gurus, please advise. Thank you very much.
