Oracle Production Scheduling along with EntperpriseOne Forecast and MPS

We are trying to implement Oracle Production Scheduling to interface with our EnterpriseOne 9.0 environment.  We plan to use MPS to create work orders based on a forecast and customer demand, and then use Production Scheduling to move the orders into an optimal run sequence.  The problem we are facing is whether to change the Requested Date on the work order header when we move a work order from one day to another in Production Scheduling.

We think that the Requested Date should stay the same because that is still the date that indicates when the order would need to be completed to meet the demand regardless of when we choose to run it.  If we decide to run the order early or late and change the Requested Date, then the next time we bring that order into Production Scheduling, it will plan based on that new Requested Date.  Also, if we change the Requested Date on the work order but the forecast or sales order date does not change, then MPS is going to try

Howdy, Stranger!
