Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Install, Upgrade, Clone, Patch - EBS (MOSC)

installed ebs 12.1 using Doc ID 761566.1 install successfull but apps will not run

I have been struggling with the install of ebs 12.1

Any suggestions of where to look or what to run to get this to work.

Thanks a whole bunch for any help.

this morning I reinstalled 12.1 again. After the install all the check marks come up green. When I go to http://erieoracle.psu-erie.bd.psu.edu:8000 does not come up

I followed all the instructions in Oracle E-Business Suite Installation and Upgrade Notes Release 12 (12.1.1) for Linux x86-64 (Doc ID 761566.1)

1. Verify that the /etc/hosts file is formatted as follows:

127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost

146.186.52.127 erieoracle.psu-erie.bd.psu.edu erieoracle

2. Download and apply the
