Scheduling Autoinvoice to every 2 minutes

Hi

We have autoinvoice scheduled to run every 3 minutes for each Operating Unit(We have 6 MO on the same Ledger)

Today i had a complaint from a user that the invoice is delayed(client was unhappy to wait for invoice so long)

When i queried the Sales order from which invoice is generated , i noticed that it took 4 minutes .

Please advise

a)if it is OK to schedule the Autoinvoice to run every 2 minutes instead of 3 mins

b)Is there anything which my DBA can do to ensure that the Autinvoice submission time interval does not go beyond 3 minutes.

My DBA told me that 3 mins may be 4-5 mins as the availability of the concurrent managers plays a role
