Converting fro 8.12 to 9.1, company setup - error - Exceeding Data Item Length in P0010

Converting from 8.12 to 9.1. In P0010 app, any company that is selected, nothing is changed, but try to save and it will not due to an error. Tried to create a new company, was able to create and save, but when accessing the record - no changes - try to save and receive the same error as the companies that were converted. In 8.12 the multi-currency was not turned on and now it is in 9.1. But, regardless of that being turned on or not, I still get the same error.
