I found this document:

http://docs.oracle.com/goldengate/1212/gg-winux/GWUAD/wu_dr_config.htm#CBDCHAFG

The document fails to tell me:

a. How does the remote trail file get applied to the standby?

b. How is the remote trail file on the standby maintained.  It may be months, years before a failover occurs so does the remote trail file keep growing.

c. Do I not turn on the param files (extract, datalpump) from the Source Golden Gate node that point to the standby until I have a failover? I am not using FSFO.

GOAL:

=====

The Source Goldengate node and the Target Goldengate node both have standbys attached.

Howdy, Stranger!
