environment file creation after database upgrade

HI ALL
i have recently upgraded database from 11.1.0.7 to 11.2.0.2

but after the upgradation i cannot find the env file in the 11.2.0.2 oracle home

do i need to manually create env file by copying it from 11.1.0.7 oracle home to 11.2.0 oracle home?

does this upgradation automatically wont create environment file?
