Can I safely remove JDK/SDK 1.4 from Solaris 10?

I have a Solaris 10 installation that has JDK/SDK 1.4 installed along with JDK 1.5 and 1.6.  JDK 1.4 is no longer supported, can I safely remove JDK/SDK 1.4 from Solaris 10?  It looks like it has dependencies and I'm concerned of breaking other Solaris components that may depend on it.
