Email Report functionality in Siebel BIP scheduler

This is in reference to the white paper published along with the article "Siebel BI Publisher Reports Business Service (8.1.1.7+) (Doc ID 1425724.1)" where we can have an option of implementing the email report feature along with BIP Scheduler. We are trying to achieve the same by invoking the given workflow in the article and passing necessary inputs. IN teh process we have encountered few issue where we would like know if this feature is achievable for all scenarios.

1. Running report Daily - The Report Schedule Mode parameter can be set with option of "Run Daily/Weekly" in which the weekly option seems to be functioning but the daily option is not accessible at all as there is no input parameter defined for scheduling daily. The parameters in mentioned in white paper are restricted for weekly report only.
