OM Auto Schedule and GOP

Hi All,

my understanding is that OM has a default scheduling module which will be invoked if the OM Auto Schedule profile option is set to Y at site/trx type levels etc.

Also based on the INV : Capable to Promise option, the scheduling will be based on the collections or planning output and to my knowledge if the scheduling is based on collections ,you don't need GOP.

So the question is if the auto schedule is set to N and if the scheduling is based on collections, then how and which module will perform the scheduling.

Am I missing something here in my understanding, if someone can explain in detail how autoschedule and GOP work in conjunction with examples that would be great.
