RDBPROB: BADPAGNUM error message - how to interpret - what could be the reason ?

Hello everyone,

We received an error mesaage like this during the last rmu/backup :

"RMU-F-BADPAGNUM, page 4294967295 is out of valid range (1:10965)

for physical area 185"

Extract from rmu_msg71.doc :

"

BADPAGNUM,     page <num> is out of valid range (1:<num>) for physical

               area <num>

Explanation:   The page number requested does not fall within the

               range of pages that exist in the specified physical

               storage area.  Note that a page number of 4294967295 is

               equal to -1.

User Action:   Contact your Oracle support representative for

               assistance."  <--------------------
