Out of Place Database Upgrade on New Cluster

In the next month or so, we are required to migrate our RAC databases from hardware that is coming off of lease to newer hardware.

Currently, our environment consists of 2 nodes running OEL 5.7, with 11.1.0.7.0 clusterware and rdbms.  We use OCFS2 for the OCR/Voting files and ASM for database files.  We would like to build up a new 2 node cluster consisting of RHEL 6.5, with 11.2.0.4.0 grid/rdbms.  We will use ASM for OCR/Voting as well as for database files.  I am looking for any advice or experience with the following (also confirmation if steps are possible).

1. Install 11.2.0.4.0 grid/rac software on new nodes ( creating the +OCRVOTE disgroup during installation process to house OCR/Voting files ).

Howdy, Stranger!
