OLM: using Content from multiple content cetgories

in Human Capital Management - EBS (MOSC) Question

When adding content to learning paths users would like to be able to select content from multiple top level content categories. Outside of uploading the same content over and over into multiple categories is anyone aware of how to make this happen?
