9.1.0.1A Server Manager showing Ent server stopped (though its running)

Hi, I read similar posts but still not able to resolve the issue. Server Manager 9.1.0.1A is showing that Enterprise Server 9.1.0.1A is stopped but it is actually running. I am not able to start/stop Ent server using Server Manager. I have the Visual C++2010 RT installed and I check all the files are there. Also followed the instructions to stop agents manually using command line, delete log files, and start agents again.
